Prologue update

It is my pleasure to announce that I have finished the roughs of the prologue. Not only that, I have photographic proof!

Yep! There it is! No more empty promises and intentions. I have the remaining pages all roughed out, which is the hardest part for me. While the pages are not completely penciled, things will proceed much more quickly now that the general pencils have been lain down. Details will be added, trouble panels fixed, and then move quickly to inking (as some already are), scanning, and coloring and lettering.

You may also notice I'm using comic art boards. I decided to try them out, and they have helped with getting a little more consistency in regards to page sizes. It also allows more room for art that I couldn't quite get on regular sized paper.

That's about it in regards to behind the scenes news. I don't know when we'll get pages updating again, but expect it to be soon.

It's been way, way, way too long since the last update. I apologize for that. I got a block and never consistently got out of it. That's changing. I've gotten more productive art-wise, and I have also signed up for the June version of NanoMango, a manga/comics version of NanoWrimo. This means thirty pages within that month, which should be more than enough to get things going again.

So, expect updates over the next month and in June.

Slowly starting up again

Hello, folks. As you can see, we have a new page up after a very long delay. A delay completely my fault. Last year was rather busy, what with moving back to Auburn and starting work on my master's. But that's not the only reason; I was also intimidated when it came to the next pages and kept putting it off.

But that's not going to happen this time. I'll still be busy but I will make the time to get pages done on a more consistent basis. So keep coming back and look forward to the new pages. They'll be worth the wait.

Well, I got the all clear to post the next page from Asatira (*coughfinallycough* Heehee ^_~).

Since it really has been a while, I went ahead and completely re-did the website layout. It's all clean and light an' stuff. And I'm making use of a new Comic Genesis tag to update the affiliates and latest page block by only altering one file. I just started using it on Lot4, and it's been rather convenient.

Asatira sent me this update last week. Sorry. I was a bad web-minkey and played all Memorial Day weekend instead of updating. Eh-heh. Some weeks, I guess I'm lucky I live on the wrong side of the country for Asatira to come over and beat me up easily. ^^;;

Delay

*bows* So sorry for the delay. I was... distracted. The one problem with being an artist is you are never satisfied with what you've done. I got a little intimidated, but I've resolved the problems. There's now a personal schedule, so hopefully there will be 2 or more pages every two weeks, possibly sooner if I can keep to the task. I hope you guys enjoy the current pages -- you're getting to see what world Tsuba and Mullein live in. See ya soon! ^_~

Welcome to the first chapter of Overhill, our latest venture into comics. Both Becky and I are veterans of webcomics, having done our own projects in the past (with, admittedly, varying degrees of succes *sweat*). We feel really good about this one. It's got a good story that I'm having a blast illustrating, and will hopefully prove entertaining for you readers. Hope you enjoy!

New Toy

I can't even explain how excited I am about this project. Oh my god. Writing it is a blast. We've got a pair of priceless characters, and the situation of their world is fascinating. And the art... Michelle is so much better than me. Although you will see me do covers and pinups from time to time. If nothing else, read the prologue in it's entirety as we do this. I think we'll get you hooked.
